I had a really good stay overall, with some hiccups that kept it from being excellent. The location is fantastic, especially for those who love outdoor activities and appreciate quick access to Squaw Village. The dining options were great, and I particularly enjoyed the atmosphere at Sandy's Pub. However, my room experience could have been better, with a few maintenance issues, and the service was hit or miss.

Rooms

My room was a bit dark and facing an access road, which wasn’t ideal. Also, the bathroom sink had a slow drain, and the heating system struggled to keep the room warm enough.
Service
7.0
The service was decent overall, but I did experience some delays, especially when it came to getting help with the TV remote and other room issues.
Location

The hotel is perfectly situated for enjoying the surrounding nature and is a nice walk away from the village. The shuttle service is super convenient for getting around without needing a car.

The resort is stunning with beautiful views, especially from our fireplace suite. It offers a lot of amenities, including a great spa experience, but the service left much to be desired. We encountered numerous issues with room service and communication that detracted from our overall enjoyment. While the facilities are lovely, the staff's performance was disappointing, which is a shame for such a beautiful location.

Rooms

We stayed in a fireplace suite that was beautiful with breathtaking views of the mountains. The small kitchen was convenient for our four-day stay.
Service

Unfortunately, the service throughout the resort was lacking. We experienced problems with room service and other staff not being properly informed or trained.

My stay at the hotel had its highs and lows. On the plus side, the facilities like the heated swimming pool and jacuzzi were fantastic, and I loved the family-friendly atmosphere with games and a cozy lobby. However, the remote location meant high food prices, and I faced issues with housekeeping that put a damper on the experience. Overall, it's a great place for families, but be prepared for extra costs.

Rooms
7.0
The rooms had a good size for a family of four and were clean for the most part, although I did find some M&M's behind the sofa. They felt a bit outdated and could really use a major makeover.
Service
6.0
Service was generally friendly and helpful, but I had to call multiple times for housekeeping requests, which was quite frustrating.
Location
7.0
The hotel's location was quite nice, offering great views of the valley and easy access to various hiking trails, but it felt a bit isolated with limited dining options nearby, leading to overpriced food on-site.
Dining
5.0
Dining was good, but the prices were incredibly steep for what was offered. The breakfast buffet was nice, though, I didn't feel like it was worth the high price tag.
Facilities
8.0
The hotel had great facilities, especially for families; the heated pool was a highlight, and the games in the lobby kept the kids entertained. However, some amenities felt less appealing due to the remote setting.

I’ve always loved this resort for its beautiful views and great amenities, but unfortunately, the service has taken a significant hit during my recent stay. Although the rooms remain beautiful and comfortable, I noticed some signs of aging. The pool area is fantastic and perfect for families, adding to the overall experience, but the prices for food and bike rentals can be a bit much. I really hope the service improves, as it's a great property otherwise.

Rooms

I was thrilled to stay at this resort after hearing great things, but I ended up feeling quite disappointed. While there were a couple of positive aspects like the wonderful staff who helped with our luggage and the spa experience, the overall service and condition of the hotel just didn't live up to my expectations. My expectations were dashed after dealing with issues like a subpar room and misleading spa packages, making it not worth the hefty price tag.

Rooms
5.0
The room we received was not the one we booked, and it was poorly heated, making for an uncomfortable stay.
Service
5.0
Service was lackluster, especially with regard to handling our check-in issues and providing quality spa services.
Location

The location seemed ideal, being close to various activities, but unfortunately, the hotel's issues overshadowed this.
Dining
Facilities

The spa facilities were decent, but the misleading packages were a significant letdown when compared to other resorts.
